Potential Weak Interaction

Glecaprevir/Pibrentasvir

Brexpiprazole

Summary:

Coadministration has not been studied. Brexpiprazole is predominantly metabolized by CYP3A4 and CYP2D6. Glecaprevir/pibrentasvir is a weak CYP3A4 inhibitor and a P-gp inhibitor. A small increase in brexpiprazole concentrations may be observed but this is unlikely to be clinically relevant. Known CYP2D6 poor metabolizers may be affected to a greater extent. Glecaprevir and pibrentasvir are metabolized by CYP3A4 and are substrates of P-gp and/or BCRP. Brexpiprazole does not interact with these pathways.
