We are pleased to announce the addition of fenofibrate to the Primary Biliary Cholangitis (PBC) indication of the Hepatology Drug Interaction checker. The American Association for the Study of Liver Diseases (AASLD) recommends that fibrates may be used off-label for patients with PBC who do not adequately respond to ursodeoxycholic acid, where they do not have decompensated liver disease.
We have updated the PBC Interaction Summary Table to include fenofibrate, and a downloadable update is available for our mobile apps.
